In a new fantasy theater piece, Glenn Gould fakes his own death in 1982, and has, under a pseudonym, been making recordings ever since in the ‘Far North’ of Canada. The strange and intimate relationship between a future, fictional Gould and the real Gould intermingles with Bach’s iconic “Goldberg” Variations.
