Pamela Laws with Thad DeBrock and Konrad Meissner
Pamela Laws is a singer-songwriter with a career that spans decades and coastlines. Signed to Warner Chappell Publishing by Judy Stakee, Pamela went on to make two albums with her band, Seven Day Diary for Warner Reprise records before moving to New York City to pursue her solo career. As a solo artist and session singer, Pamela began to quickly make a name for herself with her story driven songs that combined the beats she could hear blasting out of cars that drove by her East Village apartment. The nature she had left behind from her Northern Californa coastal roots also found its way into Pamela's sound and the combination landed her a feature in Interview Magazine as their Ones to Watch artist. "Lucky for New Yorkers, Pamela is the real thing." Interview Magazine. Gearing up to release her third solo album, Pamela is celebrating the release of Blindspot, (her first single on the album co-written with Jeff Trott and jeff Cohen in Nashville, TN), with this performance at The Soapbox Gallery. She will be joined on stage by guitarist, Thad DeBrock and drummer, Konrad Meissner - two legendary New York musicians who have graced the stage with everyone from Ari Heist, the Mammals, to Graham Nash, Judy Collins, and Katy Perry. Doors for this performance open at 7:30 and show starts at 8:00. Please join us.
