With Spin Cycle III, self-released on the band’s Sound Footing record label, the band presents yet another diverse auditory feast of compositions from Scott Neumann and Tom Christensen. Spin Cycle III is a mix of hard-swinging jazz, funky blues, ballads and free playing that has become a trademark of the band. With seven years of performing, touring and recording together under their belt, those experiences have provided a suitable “cooking time” for the development of a solidly identifiable band sound that highlights the band’s interactive style and deep trust in each other’s musical contributions.
